Grants Officer

Ntokozo B. Zondi

Ntokozo B. Zondi is the Grants Officer for the Seed and Knowledge Initiative (SKI), having joined the organization on July 1, 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography (Environmental Management) and Rural Resource Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Food Security, with a dissertation focused on Market Access for Smallholder Farmers. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Agriculture in Food Security, focusing on coursework.

Before joining SKI, Ntokozo worked at the Foundation for Human Rights in South Africa from 2015 to 2024. He served as a Project Officer, where his responsibilities included report writing, budget compliance, monitoring project implementation by grantees, and reviewing grantee reports. Later, he assumed the role of Grants and Projects Coordinator, where his duties encompassed compliance with contractual obligations, systems management, grants administration, and program budgeting.

Ntokozo brings extensive experience in grants management, program coordination, and fostering compliance and accountability. His academic background in environmental management and food security enhances his ability to support SKI’s mission of promoting sustainable agriculture and food sovereignty in the SADC region.

His commitment to precision, collaboration, and strategic oversight makes him an integral part of the SKI team, supporting impactful initiatives and strengthening partnerships across the organization’s network.
