The Seed and Knowledge Initiative (SKI) is a dynamic partnership of diverse southern African organisations committed to securing food sovereignty in the region. On 10 September we will host an event in Harare, Zimbabwe,to celebrate 10 years of existence, bringing together SKI partners and practitioners with a wider public audience, including farmers, policy-makers, funders, media, and academics.
The event is designed to create awareness on agroecology, build relationships and showcase SKI’s work.It will highlight lessons learnt and key achievements from SKI’s collective experience in advancing the science, practice and movement-building of agroecology.
The event will also launch the Zimbabwean chapter of the Agroecology Knowledge Network and a new book on agroecology, drawing on experiences from SKI partners and others.
