Soils, Food and Healthy Communities (SFHC)

Soils, Food and Healthy Communities (SFHC) is a participatory project, in which farmers work to improve soil fertility, food security and nutrition through the use of grain or perennial legumes. SFHC project activities aim to improve child nutrition, food security and soil fertility, with an emphasis on community-based, participatory methods. Other focus areas include: seed distribution; training; annual field days; and several other integrated activities that promote agricultural, nutritional and social practices.
